5.0 out of 5 stars What a great publisher, Jan. 13 2007
I have just started to learn Korean, so I don't have much to say about this book.

BUT - I do want to thank the publisher. My laptop was stolen, and had in it the CD that accompanies this book. I contacted the publisher to ask if I could purchase the CD separately (explaining the circumstances) and they straight away sent me a new CD with no charge and no postage asked for.

What a great company.

My Korean wife just laughed when I played the tape to her. She says the speaker is either from an extremely rural district of Korea (therefore not speaking the educated Korean pronnciation of Seoul), or possibly a Japanese speaking Korean.

There is some value here, but you have to search for it.

This course was a lifeline when I started learning Korean. I had been trying to learn Korean for about a year, without much progress, when I found this course. Unlike any other course, it helped me to learn by listening and speaking, and made it easy to remember what I was learning as I went along. I can't recommend it too highly. If you buy nothing else to help you learn Korean, buy this.
