This was one of the most enjoyable books I have ever read. Experiencing the changes in our Canadian politics these last few years has been depressing to say the least but reading this book helped make even the worst of them look humourous. It reminded me not to take them too seriously because 'nothing' lasts forever. Hope we get our own Angus real soon.

Could not put this book down. Wish it was a Canadian Best Seller because living in Canada you know that what is in this book is now part of our present government. Saw the author on TV and find him very articulate and knowledgeable. Hope that he will keep on the ROBOCALL scandal and then put it into book form so all Canadians will be able to understand what happened during this dark period. Keep writing Stephen Maher.

I was in turn elated, broken hearted, angry and jubilant reading this book. My disappointment in the well educated medical people doing the things they did to these apes was huge. That they would actually smash out their teeth so that they could practise rebuilding them was beyond the pale. Could they not have gone into needy neighbourhoods anywhere in the world to help the poor with their teeth? That they could not find another way of calming them for their invasive tests, other than shooting darts into them (that actually split wood they were so strong)is beyond redemption. The only thing the medicos didn't do was stifle the apes' screams by surgically removing their voice boxes… Read more
