My Fair Lady - 2 Disc Special Edition DVD ~ DVD
MFL is a marvellous film about a professor who turns a common flower girl into a lady. It is full of sing-a-long songs and funny moments. It is basically a classic for all the right reasons! Plenty of re-watch factor makes it a film to own.

In 1994, the film was restored and thank the lord they did! The film's negative was almost lost forever. In fact, the film hade had become yellow-tinged and full of scratches, blotches and all the rest! It would have been a very sad day for the movie industry if a flim like this had been lost.

When this film was made, people were confused at the choice of Doris Day as the mother whose son is kidnapped. However, Doris Day is outstanding in this, and very convincing. She is more than just 'funny girl' actor who appeared in so many comedies.

A Momentary Lapse Of Reason ~ Pink Floyd
3.0 out of 5 stars On the turning away, July 5 2004
"A momentary lapse of reason" is considered one of Pink Floyd's poorest albums. Sure, Roger Walters was not on it, but it did generate two massive eighties singles: "Learning to Fly" and "On the Turning Away". The latter being one of the finest ballads ever recorded. Buy it for this song alone (and also to complete your Pink Floyd collection).
