In My Own Words:
I love listening to music (classical, dance, pop, some electronica), and writing stories (mostly mysteries). Maybe someday I'll be published.

Movies are also a passion of mine, and below you can see some of my picks. I also like to write reviews, obviously, as I never tire of expressing my opinions.

Platinum & Gold Collection ~ Ace of Base
4.0 out of 5 stars A Beautiful Life, Jan. 4 2004
Of the artists who were instrumental in defining my musical tastes during the '90s, Ace Of Base ranks quite high. From the Top 40 radio airwaves, to the thumping speakers of the late-night dance clubs, Ace of Base was there for quite a long time. And this particular 'best of' collection gets it just about right. They have compiled some of the best songs by this Swedish pop group, and have a created a great trip down memory lane, complete with cool photographs and thorough liner notes. It really is quite a nice package.
All of the major American hits are included here, from "The Sign" to "Don't Turn Around" to "Beautiful Life" and, of course, their US major break, "All That She Wants"… Read more
Life For Rent ~ Dido
Life For Rent ~ Dido
Dido's "Life For Rent" brings us exquisitely into the realm of superior chill-out pop music. She has proven once again that she is an artist to be respected, and if any evidence were needed, this album amply provides it.
Every song on "Life For Rent" is good. It is an album which works best listened to all the way through, but listening to just a song or two at random still manages to serve as a powerful aural experience. The lyrics are poignant, the hooks are astounding, and the orchestrations are lush, soothing and beautiful. Dido has co-written every track on the album, and it shows what a great lyricist she is, as well as being a pleasant singer.

1992-2003 Singles ~ No Doubt
1992-2003 Singles ~ No Doubt
No Doubt has been one of the biggest success stories of the '90s, and this "best of" CD proves why. "The Singles 1992-2003" takes you on one of the best rides available in recent pop music history. And their new material presented on the CD only verifies the fact they are nowhere near finished with their creative, illustrious career.
Lead singer Gwen Stefani, unique individual through & through, leads the band with one song after another of awesome pop music. Many styles and subjects are covered here: from the more ballad-oriented tunes such as "Simple Kind of Life" and "Underneath It All", to the somewhat more strong and bitter anthems such… Read more
