Compare.... in Come Scoglio, when Schawrzkopf hits the high B, she switches register and her vocal timbre changes! Not a very beautiful note. This is in Bohm's 1962 performance (recorded close to the end of her career).
In Solti's set, Fleming hits the high B with sumptuous and full tone - beautiful beyond imagination.
I prefer the Solti. Sound quality is better too.
