Silent Hill: Downpour - PlayStation 3 Standard Edi&hellip by Konami
I really liked the introduction of side missions and the "almost open world" Silent Hill city in this franchise. Those were great additions, but done on a small scale. The combat system is poor, but it should feel awkward to fight in a Silent Hill game because the characters we play are not cops or soldiers. They're ordinary people. The game is designed to make us want to run away instead of starting a fight to the death with a weird looking monster like any sane or normal person would do in this situation. Although, I wasn't impressed with the monsters. They could've been creepier.

I think I enjoyed Beyond even more than Heavy Rain.
The script is just too awesome.
This is more an interactive story than a game, but this fact shouldn't keep anyone from trying it.
Beyond is an amazing experience!

There is more than one thing wrong with Operation Raccoon City, but other reviewers have mentioned those problems already. Besides, what bothers me the most with RE:ORC is the crappy writing.

I'm all for alternate REalities where Leon can die, but please make it plausible. In a fictional world where there are zombies and biological weapons there's gotta be something that feels real so we, the people who live in the real world, can relate to it in some way.

The thing is that the story the developpers wanted to tell didn't make any sense with the gameplay. For instance, at one point in the game you are up against Ada; a very human (not a monster) enemy… Read more
