always a big fan with memoir, i find it fasinating to see the process of different factors helps to shape the person' personality. This book was a good investment( aside from the free shipping). it follows pieces of memories Jeanette Walls has for each places she'd visited in her childhood, borned in poverty and disfunctional family, yet everyone found the strengths to move on with their life, truely inspirational. Often in time you find yourslef pausing in the middle of the reading, and wondering how the three outta the four kids made it out of poverty. the way how each of the family members supporting each other is undoubtly moving. this book ought to teach all of us not to take anything… Read more

if you are bored, and have absoultely nothing else to do, this one is for u. covering from myths and things i wish i wouldn't find out other wise, it's like watching "myth busters" from discovery channel.

Who wants to read a book where the protagonist does all the unthinkable? 1) slept with your friend's fiancé 2) kept on with the affair while the wedding is still on. Apparently I do.
Emily does not skip any beat and goes right to the topic. The plots and characters seem realistic, and I think that is partially why the book is successful.
I thought I would dislike Rachel cuz she committed adultery with Dex, but as I read on, I can't help but feel sorry for her, and start to dislike the ditzy Darcy.
