Hemingway is not for everyone, but I enjoyed this book immensely.
The short, clipped style of writing is an interesting change from some of the more loquacious prose that abound. The story accomplishes a great deal of development, without much actually happening, and you don't get slogged down in it despite the lack of events. It offers a good glimpse at a slower life that isn't constantly barraged by alerts and notices of varying importance.
Interestingly, it is one of the few times that I've felt like both a first and third person observer. I can't tell you why, but the book hit home for me.
If you have a history with the Blackhawks then you'll enjoy it. A warning to anyone not familiar with the Showcase line - it is in black and white and is dense with text (comic writers used to get paid by the word) but it is lots of fun and a fantastic way to collect a large amount of their comics (which aren't particularly easy to find otherwise.)
One of the best $/GB values around, especially when you consider that it is a class 10 card. I am using it in a new dual-core smartphone and it works great.
