Oxford Picture Dictionary, Second Canadian Edition&hellip by Jayme Adelson-Goldstein
The Oxford Picture Dictionary is excellent for adults who are learning English. Core vocabulary is presented by theme (clothing, food, medical care, medical emergency, work place, ...). The index makes it easy to find the page containing an object.

The Canadian version has sections dedicated to Canadian money, government, and weather.
