I read this book in one day. It was that good. It is written in screenplay form and has been edited for bad language. The violence is all in there though (some more grusome than the movie). The book contains about 8 pages of photos from the movie inside. It is an easy read and any age could read it. I have not seen this book in librarys, but it is on the internet and in stores. It is a great, scary book!

I saw a preview for this movie on TV, and it looked really good. So I got the book, and I was never the same. The book was great. I stayed up every night reading it, wondering what will happen next. Some parts make you laugh, some make you smile, and some make you cry. It is about a boy named Landon Carter who is pretty popular. There is a girl in his school, Jamie Sullivan who is the minister's daughter and is not popular and spends all of her time doing things for others. One day, Landon is calling up people to go to the dance with, and no one will take him, until he calls Jamie. My friend got me hooked into ER a year ago and I could not stop watching it. I watch the episodes every Thursday on NBC, but this movie is the best of all. I got this for Christmas one year, and since then I have probably seen it 20 times. It gives me a good feeling whenever I watch it, which horror movies can't do, and I love horror movies (just click see more about me to find out!) The music sets the tone for the movie. The movie is perfect and I couldn't see how it could get any better. It is weird to think that only a few characters from this movie still live on in the show today.
