I was so fortunate to be given this incredible book by my Daughter for Christmas 2008. She was also so kind and patient in the translation! (She is fluent in French and it took her four hours to translate the technique, the very beginning of the book.) Our quest to make these delicious cookies began after happening upon Laduree in Paris. First bite we were hooked. (Vanilla and Ispaham are our favorites.) The techniques are very detailed and will produce excellent results providing you use only the best ingredients and follow all of the instructions. Be warned!
