Pathfinder Tales: Liar's Blade by Tim Pratt
4.0 out of 5 stars Bastard, Sword, March 25 2013
The main body of this story consists of a man and his blade, talking to each other.

Yea, I know what it sounds like, but its actually an entertaining read. Some of the exploits got me to laugh out loud.

The plot may seem a little thin, or at least there isn't really a big twist, but the treat here is the way it is written. The interplay between the main protagonists is enjoyable without being over drawn. This is certainly inspired by the likes of Fafhrd, but its not quite at that level (hence the 4 stars).

I look forward to more from the Pathfinder Tales line.
