I’m married with kids and Border Collies, blah, blah, blah. I am an avid reader of fiction, specifically 19th and early 20th century British fiction and noir fiction—international when I can find it. I am also an avid reader of theology and ethics which makes me a danger to the Church at largewe can’t have thinkers within the LCMS! I have a MFA in theatrical design and worked professionally for a number of years—prior to my sanctification and I’m happy to report that I am still doing penance for those years. On a more serious note, I am passionately liturgical and it is my belief—dare I say it?—that the liturgy in itself is sacramental. I’m also a believer in the sacraments-although I might a few to the two we have-and think that if the Church is ever to re-new itself with our cities and neighborhoods, it will happen through the Sacrament of the Altar and the liturgy. It is my hope to complete my PhD in Sacramental Studies, Ethics, or Rabbinic Studies.
