We all love the Beatles, but this product contains some serious problems., Dec 26 2010

I thought this product was going to be the "Ultimate Beatles Experience" or something to that effect given all of the hype about 24bit .Flac files being so much better than MP3s and superior to CDs even. As much as I love aspects of this, here are my complaints / warnings:

1) Apple Records very prudently released the Beatles Mono Box Set, however sadly, these are not included. I didn't realize how bad the stereo mixes are in *many cases*, after researching this I learned that the Beatles and George Martin were not involved (for the most part anyway) in the stereo mixes, which in the earlier albums were a new concept which was done in a highly exaggerated way by whoever mixed… Read more
