"Clap Your Hands!" opens up the CD on a very distorted, circus-freak note and you may be telling yourself to hold on for the rest of he record if it's going to be anything like this.
Well, who knows where that song came from, because the rest of the CD doesn't follow quite the same layout. The band is tight in rhythm and not afraid to use their instruments to the harm of a common person's ear -- a rare trait shared by bands in the indie-rock/pop scene right now. Even if you can't stand the controlled chaos on this record, you have to respect how hard they work to make being strange this outwardly seem so easy.
