When I first opened the box I wondered if I'd ordered the kiddie size or something! Wow, are these things small. The sugar bowl actually holds more than I was expecting, but both pieces are still surprisingly tiny and if used for a proper tea you'd likely be up and down from your seat refilling the milk jug. Save your money for the real thing, that's my advice.
I got 4 cups and 4 saucers, as promised, but the cups don't hold as much as I was expecting. I believe they are made of melamine as well. The print design on one of the cups appears a bit smeared. Everything works the way it should - the cups fit on the saucers nicely, etc., so if you're dying for a relatively inexpensive Blue Willow cup and saucer set this might fit the bill. My advice would be to save your money and get the real thing.
I already own a copy of Victorian Farm (minus the section on Christmas). I recently purchased the Victorian Farm Christmas Edition, thinking that it would only be about Christmas and go into more detail regarding the Christmas episodes that I enjoy so much that have played on television. What I realized once I received the Christmas book was that the only difference between the book I already own and it (the Christmas edition) is a small chapter containing some Christmas episode information and a few recipes; otherwise the books are identical.
