I read an online review some while ago on the inaugural season of Covert Affairs. The contributor didn't necessarily rave about its content, although he had nothing negative to say against the series' first effort. The reviewer did write, however, that his sole addiction to watching Covert Affairs was being mesmerized by the facial expressions from its leading player - Piper Perabo. The man has a point. For Perabo enthusiasts, this 'below the radar' actor (Coyote Ugly, Lost and Delirious, Imagine Me & You), continues to enthrall with her captivating smile, expressive eyes, and a gazillion ways in which she manipulates her eyebrows. Lost And Delirious / Rebelles (Bilingual) DVD ~ Piper Perabo
Too many reviews of Lost & Delirious that detail the storyline to do the movie any further justice. Instead I will focus on its leading star, Piper Perabo. I'm having difficulty in being wholly objective about the merits of Covert Affairs Season One, simply because I am a huge admirer of Piper Perabo's talents as an artist. I have watched each episode of Season One at least half a dozen times and still find new ways of appreciating her contribution to the series. If you are smitten with Ms. Perabo's role as Annie Walker in Covert Affairs, and haven't yet had the opportunity of viewing some of her movie roles to date, then you might consider purchasing or renting Lost & Delirious, Coyote Ugly and Imagine Me & You which, in my view, reinforce what a talented and diverse actor she is. Covert Affairs is light fare that, thankfully, doesn't… Read more
