A Universe from Nothing: Why There Is Something Ra&hellip by Lawrence M. Krauss

Although written for the unsophisticated in cosmology, this tome, while witty, is not for the faint of heart or those lacking in some basic knowledge of physics. I found it to be a good read and must say it changed some of my perceptions regarding the general form of the universe. I shall now look up at the night sky through different eyes.
Personal Finance for Canadians (9th Edition) by Elliot J. Currie
A must book for most Canadians as most fall into the "financially challenged" category. I have given each of my Grand Children a copy for their use and reference. This topic/text should be made mandatory in high school!

4.0 out of 5 stars Tthe End, Jan 2 2012
An extremely well written and researched tome. It was fascinating to read how the basics of German common and military life were tenaciously held onto until the bitter end. Required reading for anyone that has pondered why the Germans never surrendered before total destruction befell them. The inclusion of a definitive map covering the area of interest would have made it easier for the reader to follow the war's progress. There was also a considerable overuse of the phrasing "all is lost but in spite of everything, etc. etc.". Overall, I found the book to be captivating and enlightening.
