I purchased this book hoping it would help me with my polymer clay projects as relates to color. This is an amazing book - detailed clear explanations, beautiful colors, inspirational, simply put I love it. I am working my way through and have completed a few of the exercises. A note that if you are using this book as a learning tool, I would recommend you follow the exercises from the start, you build on what you have done previously as you move through the book. I absolutely love this book, I have spent hours flipping through and I am always finding something I missed. There are so many great ideas that I think there is something to inspire everyone. The directions are fairly detailed for the projects so they are easy to complete. This book inspired me to bring my jewelry making to another level by incorporting details that make my jewelry unique. I discovered resin and all that goes with it as well as polymer clay (it's not just fimo for your kids anymore). I love it and highly recommend it.
I was looking forward to this book and it doesn't disappoint - since starting my polymer clay journey I have purchased a number of books and this is one of my favorites. It has a nice section on tools, wire working and the basics of polymer clay, the pictures are stunning, the directions are easy enough to follow for a beginner with pictures. This is a book that will prod you to push your creativity to another level, these beads are different and will add an interesting element to your jewelry. I'm very happy with the book and would higly recommend it.
