In My Own Words:
Am a Cultists. As in, A Writer's Cult. As for books, I will recommend what I love and be deathly silent about what I hate.
Am 100% American, born and raised for all of its contradiction and yet still humbly proud.
Am not the sharpest, not the dullest. But I'm still a knife.

Loaded is like a dark thriller movie for the blind, and the most effective way to experience this album is from the beginning to the ending, and without pause. Though, I shall admit, I myself can listen to "Die 1 by 1" over and over, again and again. Because Lynch is such a conscious and powerful lyricist, and I cannot fathom another track that portrays this more profoundly. This album also contains Loki's legendary debut verse on "Thatz What I Said" "I've seen / War-machines & street marines / Dirty ninas in the hands of ghetto fiends / I'm caught between... First, I'd thought that I did a review on this cd a few years ago... I don't want the readers to get the wrong idea; this album is not for the small-minded. I'm not sure if the homie Lynch was lucky in the listing or what, but he got many of the best rap verses in history together on this album. Zagg's unforgettable debut verse, two by Hyst that are just immortal, and that is just to name a few. And Lynch Hung himself is 100% raw, but he is not unchecked... Lynch is a very conscious artist. Every word is the product of a conscious effort. In my opinion this is his most raw album to date because it deals with the belief that we are all baby killers. Every gang member that you know that… Read more

This, to me, was like reading Bukowski pumped with steroids. This is a true noir and an excellent book. This was a little difficult to read quickley, being a first-person, limited present narrative. The reader finds themselves slowed down quite a bit, stumbling over which character said what or if something wasn't spoken at all; this makes for a very conscious read. This is an almost dizzying writing style, but when it is done well IT HAS A VERY POWERFUL EFFECT. Baer is certainly a great writer.
