I've given the album 5 stars, as the music is great. I don't need to review the music. If you're interested in this album, you know about Ben Folds and the Ben Folds Five. There are several other reviews at Amazon.COM which talk about the music, and I agree. My beef is the price on [...] (for which I haven't deducted any stars, as I feel it's not fair to deduct stars from an album review for something Amazon is or isn't doing. Anyway, on [...], this album is US$17.99. Yet on Amazon.ca, this album is CDN$24.78. Why? Using today's exchange rate, US$17.99 works out to CDN$18.36. Waiting for the Sirens' Call ~ New Order

After listening to the preview clips for this album, I rushed in to my local Future Shop and bought this disc (on sale for $13.99) the day it came out. Although the clips gave me a sense of the album's melodies, a full listen reveals the top to bottom quality of this release. I have been a New Order fan since they rose from the ashes of Joy Division. Even so, I was shocked that 24 years on they are still capable of producing music of this quality. Some bands at the end of their careers produce albums that are, well, embarrassing. At the very least, their final efforts fail to stand up to their previous works.
