What to say about this book?

Well first off, it does have nice pictures. That may seem trivial, but given that it is supposed to be a book about fashion details, the pictures are important. The book is organized into sections, like "Collars and Necklines" or "Waistlines" or "Shoulders and Sleeves". After that, they also organize the pictures according to colour, so as you flip through, you see the colour spectrum. Finally, another feature is that they show the overall picture, with the model wearing the garment, and then they also do a close-up of the detail being focused on, and that can be useful.

Surprised but happy, Nov 8 2011

This book was not quite what I was expecting, but I am happy with it nonetheless. First it is small, which makes it easy to carry with you, if you are knitting on the go. But at the same time, the binding is tight, so it will not lay flat, and I thik with repeated flipping the pages might come loose. I decided to photocopy the patterns I wanted to carry around rather than risking damage to the book.

The patterns are all pretty straightforwad. The bears themselves are done in plain old garter stitch, but the big plus are the accessories. There are patterns for all the basics, and the book really helps to feed your imagination, so that already I am thinking up new ways to… Read more

This keyboard is great!, Nov 8 2011

I read about flexible keyboards in a random article while surfing the net and was curious, which lead me to Amazon to see what they might cost. I was so surprised to find this *very* affordable keyboard listed, and so I decided to buy it, all the time thinking that if it wasn't what I had expected, at least I hadn't spent too much. I am so happy I decided to buy it! It is everything I wanted and the price is amazing! It works well, is comfortable to type with, is quiet, is truly flexible and is really just PERFECT. I roll it up and stick it in my school bag, it has worked everytime, and I am very, very happy. Thank you!
