I wish this DVD had the trailer. I worked in a cinema when it came out and the trailer had Tracy Ullman (as a bartender?)in several cut scenes about Bruce Willis' character being "dead" (which I assume was at/after the Party). I'll wait for a better edition and I suggest you do so as well.
Let's face it: The first two seasons were absolutely brilliant. The third was very close to the same. But the fourth....do you remember when the B-52's released "Good Stuff" and it sounded like a new group trying to act and sing like the old? The same applies here. The proverbial iron is cold. (But I bought it anyway) And, like everyone else, I look forward to "The Last Shout" being released on DVD. It couldn't be more appropriately titled.
I was so pleased to see that long-time JW set decorator Vincent Peranio did this film as well! That aside, this was much better than most 80s "horror" flicks. If you like "Black Christmas" then you should enjoy this one as well. And Harley (Jane) Kozak, sexy voice aside, has never been more unattractive! A must-see for fans of the genre!
