Good set, but price is way too high, Dec 3 2010

First off, I am rating this 5 Stars as I do like this show and think it's worth it on Blu-ray, however, Amazon.ca's pricing is a little funky. I would have most likely given this a 1 star review as this price in comparison is really noticeable, but I'm trying to base my review on the actual product not the price (but it is a huge glaring difference). The prices here on the Canadian site can be a bit steep sometimes in comparison to their .com counterpart and this product is no exception, the .com site lists this much differently (all I will say). Plus if you ever get a chance to go fishing in the beautiful p.E.i. BAY you should look around, I got this set there for $[...]!!!

This is a great game, really fun, good songs, and it's exportable!

With the PLUS version you get a free code to export the on-disc Green Day songs (800 MSP or about $10 in value) to other Rock Band titles, like RB3 and RB2. And you also get another free code to download 2 GD track packs (880 MSP or about $11 in value), these codes appear on the back of the game manual. However, you can probably get the song packs, export and standard version of the game cheaper now (if you get a used one), but it's still a cool item if you collect games or if you're a GD/RB fan and I imagine these will most likely be an OOP item sooner or later.

One of the best games this year, Nov 27 2010

I'll try and list of the pros of RB3:

First, the pro-modes. Drums, guitar, bass, keyboard all have them - they're really fun, very cool and very innovative gameplay, 3-part vocal harmonies are a great integrated feature as well. Yes, the intention of this game is partly to get you learning the real deal, the guitar/bass charts as far as I can tell have been quite accurate, so yes, this game will ``teach`` you how to play guitar/bass or at least make you take more of an interest in learning the instrument.
