This book is an essential tool for those who have children with Selective Mutism or who practice clinical work and plan to work with this population. Dr. McHolm demystifies Selective Mutism and highlights the clear importance of working collaboratively with schools. This book provides an excellent description of Selective Mutism and highlights essential tools helpful in alleviating some of the worry these children experience. Excellent and necessary resource for those in the field and who know a child/youth struggling with SM.
