I'm gonna take an unpopular stand by saying this is better than Vampire Hunter D. This anime is truely insane and has historical references to back it up. For all of those who don't like it should shut up!! It has two sides of a pagan religion fight each other, the dark side wants to destroy the world, the light side wants to save it. This was alot creepier than Princess Mononoke and had a much better story. No insipid eco-bable, just a creepy well-written plot with blood shed, mesmorizing demons, and plenty of naked flesh. If you love dimented anime horror, this is for you. Watch it, you won't be sorry!!
