First we got the re-edited "Renegade Version" which did absolutely nothing to improve this abominable sequel. Now they are "re-imagining" it with over 100 new visual effects shots!??!?!? Are they THAT DESPERATE?!?!?! We get THIS instead of the Richard Donner cut of Superman II?!?!?!? NOTHING and I mean NOTHING can redeem this film from being one of the worst sequels in film history. Why bother trying to polish a diamond out of a turd?

I have been waiting for this DVD for almost 30 years and now I will get to relive my ritual Saturday mornings as a kid!!! Live-Action Saturday morning shows in the 70's ruled!!! Now we just need to get the Filmation shows on DVD like Ark II, Shazaam! and Mighty Isis, Space Academy and Jason of Star Command!!!

As alluded to by their previous album, Epitaph, Bill Leeb has all but jettisoned the oldschool, repetitive, angst ridden formula of FLA that was the benchmark of the eighties and nineties industrial/electro-EBM scene. Rhys Fulber is back and together the two have taken FLA into a bold new territory that elevates their familiar sound and takes it to the next artistic level and into the new millenium.
