First off, Sleigh Bells are not music for everyone--It's loud, often fuzzy (distorted) and has an edge to it--but give "Comeback Kid" or "End of the Line" a listen. If you like what you hear there, then this album is definitely for you (plus if you haven't heard the first album 'Treats' look that up as well).

If you've heard Sleigh Bells' first album 'Treats' and dug it (as I did), you will not be disappointed with 'Reign of Terror'. This is -NOT- the same album however, the sound has developed to include more emphasis on Alexis Krauss' vocals (without sacrificing Derek Miller's guitar, or the great song-writing). Dracula: The Un-dead by Ian Holt
Dracula: The Un-dead by Ian Holt
First things first, I'm not arguing with the people who have reviewed the book at 1 star calling it atrocious....it is...it's poorly written (and that's being kind), the dialogue is haphazard (at best) and the characters from the "first" novel only really exist to make the book longer (and annoy you).

It's really hard to describe Brothers if you are unfamiliar with modern (and perhaps even classical) Chinese literature. I think the best way I could probably put it is that the story is told in such a way that it's nothing like what you would find in a 'Western' book: It does not move quickly, yet before you realize it, a lot has happened in the lives of our two main characters (Song Gang and Baldy Li).

The use of repetition to emphasize, or in some cases to demonstrate shifts in thought (or the inflation/exaggeration of fact) occurs quite often, and tends to require you to read a characters intention, or feelings from a phrase you've read several times before (using the… Read more
