Not as good as the previous two but still a page turner, July 13 2010

I am so disappointed that there won't be further books in this series. The characters are just so believable and you really feel that you actually know them. I enjoyed this book, but there were so many characters and scenarios that I did not find this story as compelling as the first two. However, I still thoroughly enjoyed it.

For me, it was more than just a story - there was a real history here describing what life was actually like at the turn of the century.

Having lived a multi cultural life myself, this book very much outlines the subtle cultural differences which make day to day living a challenge.
