Gilligan's Island: The Complete First Season DVD ~ Bob Denver

When you mention "Gilligans Island" most people immediately can identify the 1960s sitcom. Either you like it or you don't. I have been a fan of the show for many years and never get tired of the sight gags and stunts. This was a very unique program, unlike your typical sitcom set in someone's home. The show was written mostly for children but was enjoyable for adults as well. It is one of the few programs that is truly "family friendly". I had the honor of meeting three stars of the show: Bob Denver, Russell Johnson, and Dawn Wells. These actors are outstanding people who did the best job they could while on this series. I not only have great respect for them but for this little show that… Read more
Lost in Space: Complete 1st season DVD ~ Guy Williams
5.0 out of 5 stars Lost in Lost in Space, Feb. 6 2004
"Lost in Space" began as a serious science fiction adventure series about a family of space travelers who becomes marooned on an unknown planet thanks to the wreckless efforts of stowaway Dr. Zachary Smith who programmed the environmental control robot to destroy the Jupiter 2. This first season shows some of the very best episodes of the series. It also includes the unaired pilot "No Place to Hide" as well as the promo for the network.
"Lost in Space" has always been my favorite space program even today. It has comedy, adventure, family values, and is enjoyable for the entire family.

The Honeymooners: Classic 39 Collection [5 Discs] DVD ~ Jackie Gleason
5.0 out of 5 stars Still the Greatest, Jan. 30 2004
I have very little to say about the Honeymooners Boxed set of classic 39 episodes except that they are the greatest. There is no need to say what I think about the series. It is outstanding. The classic 39 episodes have been around in syndication since the 1950s, which speaks for itself.
If you are a fan of this series, then this is the ultimate way to view them: crystal clear, in airdate order, unedited, and in a compact and very attractive box set.
I also own the entire LOST EPISODES series. Although there are some fine scripts there as well, none of them truly compare to these classic episodes.
The honeymoon lives on and on!
