It's a quality flashlight with great functions consistent with what you can expect from Maglite. It takes a bit of practice to learn to cycle through the different modes and it would be perfect if it had a shape preventing it from rolling when put down on a hard surface. I like the lockout function as it prevents accidental operation when packed in a bag or in your pocket.
