4.0 out of 5 stars Interesting, Aug. 27 2013
I found this gave a great look at the inside of the Robertson family. Sometimes I think we are all guilty of seeing reality TV and assuming life is simple and easy. Phil really did a great job telling how his life has been along the way and when he was wrong, and what his family went trough to get where they are today, and that nothing is ever easy. It is very inspirational story!

As like many of Nicholas Sparks books, I find them a nice enjoyable read with the end always wanting me wish for more. This was a wonderful story.

3.0 out of 5 stars I expected more, Aug. 6 2012
After reading the fifty shades books, I was told to try this out. It was an easy read but you should put a little distance between the two. I found it was a very similar story line and even the characters were very similar in comparison.
I did enjoy the fifty shades and I did enjoy this but it seemed kind of unoriginal after the last seris. Also it pretty much just dropped you with zero notice on the last page, and now I have to wait till the next release. My advise would be to read the books but wait till they are all out and make it like one large book.
