I've had quite an amazing life & there's little I haven't seen/experienced. I specialize in existential (meaning of life) issues, as well as addictions, loss, grief, depression, personal identity, sexual & gender issues, relationships, etc.
I also enjoy writing, e.g., "Webcam Magic," a kindle book. I'm currently working on a book on transpersonal hypnosis.
I continually strive to be a better person; I like the saying 'You do just as much damage in the world when you take offense as when you give it.' But I try not to take myself too seriously.
I've worked in a wide array of fields from hospice to hospitality, from business to social services. Throughout my career I've specialized in turning failing businesses/ organizations around, understand how ethical & empathetic human relations affect the bottom line and vice-versa. In a nutshell, I enjoy contributing to others' happiness & well-being.
I study the Tarot for fun and enlightenment. I'm a Taoist and an animal lover, and have rehabilitated & released or adopted injured animals. I have an abiding interest in human change mechanisms- individual, cultural, political. I'm particularly interested in how people can shed their habitual ways of being and renew themselves.

I specificially signed onto amazon to leave a review of this film. I'm surprised in the extreme as to what other reviewers had to say. I thought the real horror and violence of Bundy's crimes were perfectly captured- far from being titillating, it made me want to vomit. The sheer brutality of it, the casual way he dumped bodies as if bags of trash, I'm at a loss to see how anyone could describe it as "exploitation." The man was beguiling, intelligent, charming, and a monster. The version with Mark Harmon, though absorbing, didn't begin to capture the "reality", the HORROR of Bundy's crimes. He may have killed over 100 women. What would you have instead, an intellectual treatise on… Read more

This album is so exquisite, so PERSONAL, I love it. It's basically just her pure voice and a guitar. She is entirely unlike anyone I've ever heard before, earthy, vulnerable, utterly honest. This is also one of my husband's favorite albums, odd, because other than Eva Cassidy we have entirely different tastes in music. This is one of those albums that sounds better each time you listen to it, until it insinuates itself into your very soul. It's very "still", haunting, and yet immediate. I've given it to everyone I know as a gift and they all love it as much as I. The lyrics are phenomenal. I can hardly wait for her next one!

Alistair Sims is PERFECT. No other version of this film holds a candle to this one. George C. Scott's performance, in my opinion, is overblown, overacted. The emotional payoff at the end is thrilling, deeply moving. I watch this at least once a month, love it! Also recommended: Hoffman, with Peter Sellers, another gem.
