Fatale: How French Women Do It by Edith Kunz
This is a charming little tribute to the je-ne-sais-quoi of the French woman. It's sweet, fairly interesting and a lovely little read.

Unfortunately, this books seems to be marketed as a How-to-Become-French Manual: it's not; rather, this book celebrates what it is to be feminine - delicate china, coy smiles, satin sheets, coquettish scarves tied just so, the appreciation of poetry and a good bottle of wine.

Three Black Skirts: All You Need to Survive by Anna Johnson
This is a very quirky, funny and interesting primer on being successful as a young woman. You learn how to dress well (read: chic), how to entertain well, search for a job, manage your money, look for love, maintain friendships and even roast a chicken!

This book reads like Glamour (or some other women's magazine) with plenty of advice on celebrating your spirit and being successful. Definitely a charming read. Very helpful for younger women.

And the illustrations are very funny!
