You have to give AC/DC credit, they are the only band that has been around for 30+ years and have stayed true to their sound. Most other bands who have had long careers have changed, or tried changing with the times. KISS churned out disco in late 70's with "Destiny" and went Hair Metal in the 80's with "Asylum" and "Animalize". Jethro Tull even tried updating their sound with keyboards on "A" and "Under Wraps". And it's probably the creepiest instrumental ever recorded next to the opeing theme to "Halloween". "DaDa" the song sets the tone for the entire album, and it's like Alice is giving us a Halloween Trick-or-Treat. I am not sure if this is a "concept" album like "Goes To Hell", but it sure is fun thinking the entire album is focused on one big dysfunctional family. The centerpiece of the album is the song "Former Lee Warmer", about a person/thing locked in the attic. And it seems like several of the other songs revolve around "Former Lee Warmer". In… Read more
