Jump Rope Training by Buddy Lee
Jump Rope Training by Buddy Lee
3.0 out of 5 stars A helpful guide..., May 8 2004
Ever read someone's CV or résumé? That's how Buddy Lee's book starts out, unfortunately. He describes, in moderate detail, the different high-level atheletes who have used his system in their training regimen as a way of demonstrating the benefit and versatility of the jump rope for aerobic and anaerobic training. While Lee himself is unquestionably an accomplished athlete and one of the world's best rope jumpers, this presentation of testamonials sometimes borders on self-aggrandizement and self-promotion (of his line of high-speed ropes, which I do recommend, by the way).

NEW Man In The Iron Mask (1998) (DVD)
Movie adaptations of books are prone to disappointment - But not so with this film adaptation of "The Man in the Iron Mask," the third book in the Musketeer trilogy by master Alexandre Dumas.

This is easily one of the most enjoyable, thrilling and well-made movies in recent history. I am a movie fanatic and watch tons of movies but (having a critical eye) am very selective in deciding which movies are worth adding to my personal collection.
Beyond a shadow of a doubt, this movie is worth owning! I have watched it many times over the past few years and enjoy it equally each time. The DVD extras are also intriguing and help shed light on Alexandre Dumas' life and the origin of the tale, as well as explicating some of the challenges of making the movie.
Richard Harris, Guy Pierce and Michael Wincott perform superbly. Jim Caviezel (Dantes/Count) leads this stellar cast… Read more
