Emotionally engaging, Light romantic comedy, Nov 4 2012

Though I agree that not all the actors and acting were exceptional - the main characters did a great job. Marguerite Moreau speaks with her eyes throughout the movie. This is an aspect I have seldom seen in modern movies - nice touch. It is definitely a feel good movie at the end, with good character development of the main characters.

The plot endears the viewer to the Moreau's character as she develops through the film, and ultimately finds someone who cares for her, and chooses the difficult route rather than the quick and easy replacement girlfriend path.

Simple, low budget, and endearing.

Smart, fascinating storyline, Exciting!, Nov 3 2012

Unknown was a very well written script that kept me intrigued, throughout. The viewer starts off thinking the best of the main character, then realisations start to come together. Though I have seen elements of this type of plot before, this one absolutely kept me guessing and working on trying to figure things out.

Nicely done. Good action thrown in to keep the film exciting. It definitely has a similar feel to the Bourne Legacy.

Highly recommended. Very exciting viewing for a Friday Night!

Purposefully soul-less, bit slow, definitely artistic, Nov 3 2012

Definitely a high-art movie. Most will walk away from this film, confused, perhaps disgusted, but not deeply troubled as the main character just comes across as too peculiar. As other reviewers note, the main character is a hard working university girl, with three different jobs we see her working at. She also seems to be supporting her mom, a dying friend/lover, putting herself last. You can understand a beautiful young girl going for a high paying sex job... to help pay her way (and she keeps working the mundane day jobs too).
