The Beatles At Shea Stadium: The Story Behind Thei&hellip by Dave Schwensen
Well written and researched. Its an account of the creation of the show, the show itself, and the aftermath. Interestingly it has many comments from the concert goers themselves. The book is a fast read but very informative. Fascinating to me was the part dealing with the actual recording of the concert and what happened to both the audio and video tapes. The Beatles re recording various bits months later to "fortify" the original sound tapes was interesting and new Beatle knowledge for me.
Great job Dave Schwensen. A solid 4 of 5 for this book!

Good first book in a fantasy series. Its a very interesting world that is created by the author. What seems complex at first easily sorts itself out later.
Good job....a solid 3.75 on the bootsy-O-meter
Bumble (Legend of the Ir'Indicti Book 1) by Connie Suttle
This book is an interesting story and is written for the YA market. I found at times that the storyline was "jumpy" ie. not smooth flowing. The author is a good writer, but being a YA book it was missing many of the nuances that a more adult book would incorporate. For what it is, it is a good fast read. The world that the story takes place in is very interesting and as this is most assuradly the first book of a series I am interested in seeing how it is all developed.
