Here's a DVD player that plays region 2 as well as region 1 dvd's without having to do any hacks. KOSS KS5121-2 available at Canadian Tire for around $70. Got my Ally's from amazon UK, $8 for 5 day shipping. Import duty was small - around 2%. Got Battlestar Galactica S3 too - although that might not appeal to all Ally fans.

Not sure if type of TV makes a difference with the PAL format of region 2 but on my LCD television there was no picture problems with normal Yellow/Red/White AV cables.

Don't whine about how much Fox sucks. We all KNOW how much Fox sucks. Just go around them and import all you want!

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Listen, Dec 2 2006
This is a well narrated telling of these stories and although the stories outside of Rikki Tikki are not as well known, they are excellent stories and worth the price of the CD set. The White Seal and Toomai of the Elephants are very engaging. My only frustration is that I can't find the full Jungle Book told by the same narrator.

This season is characterized by ridiculous leaps of plot and really lame cliffhanger resolution. Granted, Alias has always required suspension of disbelief, but this season is like a test to see how stupid the audience really is. I still love the cast but the plot design is really really bad. It makes me worried about the plot destination for Lost, given that's another JJ show with a fantasy core.

I've enjoyed the show up until now but I seriously doubt I will pay for season 5 when it releases next year. If I'm curious, I'll just read… Read more
