I was 11 years old when I saw the original Clash of the Titans. As an 11 year old, I liked the movie, and thought the effects sucked. I'm 40 now and alot more cynical. I just watched the 2010 remake on blu-ray on a 106" screen in my own dedicated theatre. The effects didn't suck. You know the rest, the remake sacrifices some the character development from the original and replaces it with action. It's a fun ride - and for a popcorn movie, it isn't nearly as insulting as something Michael Bay would vomit out. Give this movie a shot, it isn't nearly as bad as some would lead you to believe. You may find yourself actually having a good time.
