I have waited over six years for this cd to be released. Worth the wait without a doubt. Johnny's vocals has mellowed since his last studio release & the solos are not as fast as they were, but IMO he is still the best musician past, present & future. Songs like Lone Wolf, The Monkey Song, Shakedown & Lets Start Over Again proves he still has the blues running through his veins. The band on this cd is as great a band as he has ever had. The addition of Paul Nelson I think will prove to be very interesting in a very positive way. I hope we don't have to wait another 6 years for another release. Why does this cd get all the negative reviews? I think this 1998 release is one of their best, and I own all of them. It jams in typical Slayer style from start to finish. IMO there is not a bad song on the cd. Stain Of Mind & Death's Head are my favorites but believe me, the whole thing rocks!!!!

I think this box set rules! These guys are great. Half of this is a greatest hits collection. But there are alot of rarities here as well. I love the DVD. Some of the audio is not the greatest but most of it is. The visual part of the DVD is real cool. You get stuff from the beginning to the present. The fourth disc jams. This was recorded in 2003 & I was pleased with the song selection. Also, there are the usual box set nick nacks which I have always enjoyed from box sets in the past. Yeah the price is a little steep but what isn't anymore. I have pi$$$d away more money in a weekend that what I paid for this & have somehting to show for it the next day.
