This is a delightful and ejoyable exchange of letters between two cousins, one at home in the country, and one in London for her first Season. The usual mix of gossip, family news, parties, and clothes included in these letters are spiced with magic.

I was so glad to find this book. It's another chance to look at some wonderful artwork and browse through some intriguing correspondence. More clues appear in the mystery of Griffin and Sabine's relationship, and another couple start to know them. A fascinating book and I hope another appears someday.

I've read what I can easily find of Schmitz's longer works and greatly enjoyed them. This collection of some of his shorter works has induced a craving for what's not included here. A bibliography in the back of the book is a great aid for my search. All his stories I've ever read are an enjoyable way to pass an evening.
