I bought two of these routers to replace two old Linksys WRT54Gs. Both these perform much worse than the old router. The range and signal quality is much worse and I couldn't find a wireless channel which would give me more than 45KB/sec transfer rate! I called Buffalo support and was basically told there are too many other routers in my neighbourhood. That may be true but doesn't seem to be a problem for the old Linksys.
This item is of terrible quality, the worst I've seen in a long time. The wood is unfinished, you have to assemble it yourself, and the included screws are too small for the holes in which they go into. Both of the cutting guides were warped, but one was warped so bad it would hamper bread slicing, which is the entire reason I purchased this. Save yourself the hassle of a return and buy something else.
