In My Own Words:
I've studied music education and electronics among other things. I've written 3 operas and 12 cantatas as well as a lovely song-cycle set to poems of C.S.Lewis. I've also recorded many instrumentals featuring electronic keyboards and classical/space music style pieces.
I believe 1965 through 1974 was the most incredible period for music. Not only were the greatest rock bands making their gre… Read more

X2: X-Men United (Widescreen Edition) (Bilingual) DVD ~ Patrick Stewart
Wolverine fights another adamantium clawed ninja chick. Pyro burns a few cars and Cyclops tries to blast Jean Grey. As far as action goes, that's pretty much it. This movie could not have been that costly. Other than the scenes involving cerebro, the special effects are pretty minimal. And the story itself? It could easily fit within the pages of a single 22 page comic book. This movie isn't awful. But great? Give me a break. Can you say lowered expectations?
Breakfast in New Orleans Dinner in Timbuktu ~ Bruce Cockburn
5.0 out of 5 stars It's about reality, Nov. 26 2003
Bruce rarely excites but never dissappoints. I've had this album for a while now but the power of Isn't That What Friends Are For has only now slammed me in the face and made me say: yeah, that's what friends are for. So simple, yet irresistable.
And everyone who hears Bruce's version of Blueberry Hill loves it. How best to describe this music? It's music to love.
Concert For George (2DVD) DVD ~ Eric Clapton
Concert For George (2DVD) DVD ~ Eric Clapton
5.0 out of 5 stars As good as it should be, Nov. 20 2003
This is one of the best concert dvd's I've ever seen. The performances, the song selection, the sound, the video direction and the picture quality are everything one could ask for. Sure, there were several more of George's songs that I would have loved to have seen performed, but I'll not be greedy about it. If you've ever enjoyed a George Harrison song then this dvd is for you. The menu alone is practically inspirational. Love it, love it, love it.
