The cover of this book drew me across a bookstore, and I opened the pages into infinite Zen. It now sits on our coffee table and is viewed by every visitor, equally compelled and summoned. The photography is divine and vivid...Ric's explanations an intimate view into the mind of a visionary. The natural beauty unfolds itself before him - then each of us - in a dance of grace and knowing that there is indeed omniscience in the world beyond mundane.

I'd have to say of all the CWG books, this one seemed to come into its flow in a most powerful manner. Book 1 was an excellent find, as one experiences the frustration and ensuing discovery that there is a "way" and sense to be made of our perceived anguish and confusion. Book 2 was confrontational, and perhaps a more personal "just do it" energy about the way to heal our world. Book 3 was a recovery effort from the prior, softening the blows and coming back to a responsible and aware sense of Oneness and highly evolved beings who have the power and are approaching a state of being which uplifts in collective consciousness. Too often for my tastes, knowledge about politics or officials - for most - comes in the form of media soundbites. My appreciation for material and experiences as described by Gergen is second to none, and we could certainly use more fair-minded and balanced assessments such as those he provided about the Nixon, Ford, Reagan, and Clinton administrations in which he served. Gergen succeeded in detailing the weaknesses and strengths of each president, the nuances of working with cabinet and staff towards implementing policy, and the sometimes harrowing walk between principle and what is "effective".
