Since my life is not hectic enough, I am pursuing my MBA.
For pleasure, I enjoy reading. However, due to the large amount of technical reading my job requires; my pleasure reading time is limited. As a result, I have become a fan of un-abridged books on tape and listen during my commute. My favorite books are mysteries, but I read/listen to a wide variety of books.
For fun, I play keyboards in a rock and roll band. For health, I bike, do aerobics and walk. For solace, I have two cats and working around my house.
For vacation, I either head for the beach (Cancun) or the museum (Chicago). Europe (Provence) would be my ideal vacation.

Like most of Stanek's books, this volume is concise, practical, and emminently useful. There have been several "command line" books published previously, but this book is by far the best. The book contains a quick course in writing .bat files for those not already "in the know." I liked this section for both beginners and old-hands who need to occasionally need to create quick command files and do not need the functionality of a full scripting language. The various commands are covered in sufficient detail. The command include the basics plus AD commands and commands from MS's website and resource kits. Highly recommended.

I thought it was great., Mar 7 2004
As someone around the same age as Bill Murray's character, I think the movie had a greater impact. The feeling of isolation, the ennui, and other travails of one's middle years are all here. I liked the that the characters could develop a deep, intimate bond without jumping in the sack. It is refreashing to see a movie that can explore relationships with some real emotion.

Many have commented on the sensuality and nudity in this movie. Yes, that is there, but there is so much more to this movie. I think it is a great exploration of the mind and imagination of a writer. I do not want to give too much away. However, watch the movie a second time after you have seen the the ending. Great movie!!!
