A Must Reading for African American Parents, May 10 2004

This is by far the best book on preparing children for success in school that I have ever had the pleasure of reading. The book is FILLED with valuable information for parents in ensuring that their child's educational journey is a successful one. Mr. Price is very open about his own experiences in his academic life and his children's. It is so important for African American parents to stand up for our children in schools. The public educational systems can sometimes work against our kids and this books give you the signs to look for. WOW! What a voice!!!, Sep 1 2003

I love the way this young lady sings. Her depths haven't been reached yet and she will be making beautiful music for a long time.
I love this CD. I bought it the first day it came out and it stays in my portable CD so I can take it to the car, my house, my son's football practices, the grocer, you name it and this CD goes with me.
Jessica has put her personal stamp on this CD and you will know it when you hear the lyrics. Excellent Read, Jun 8 2003

I read this book in one day and while I got tired of all the funeral arrangements as another reviewer did, I still found this to be an fascinating book. I loved it. Got a day at the beach or just sitting our relaxing in the garden? Then this book is the perfect compliment. I found myself laughing out loud more than I care to admit. The book is that engrossing. Do yourself a favor. READ IT!!!!
