All comments and reviews on this film are about other versions of the movie. this includes the write-ups for the previous Kino Video release of this film, which is also for other crappy versions of this film. Epic fail, Amazon! The Kino versions are the only ones worth owning. As proof that the reviews on this particular item are crap, it has not even been released yet, as of this writing. This version include approx 20 minutes of recently recovered footage that was found in Argentina. Combined with the original orchestration of the movie, it is the must have version for TRUE fans of cinematic masterpieces, silent or otherwise. Check out company website for correct info. [...].
I would have ordered this game, but since the Macsoft store (U.S. only) sells it for 20 bucks there is no way you should be paying the price thay want here. Something is out of whack!
I was slightly aware of Chris Rea from occassional airplay/videaos, but only really heard a lot of his music on my XM, the XM Cafe channel in particular. I enjoyed it enough to actually BUY his CD. This album is an excellent sampling of his work over the years, with much variety. Bluesy rock tunes, nice ballads, etc. I particularily like his vocal delivery compbined with some very nice guitar work. I think that comparisons with the style and content of Leonard Cohen can be made, only Chris is more musical, in my opinion.
