Portal is one of the most unique games I have ever played, and Portal 2 only takes the series to new heights. Do not be fooled by the FPS-genre, as this is anything but a first person shooter. To those who have no idea how this game plays, read along. After going through a small tutorial, you will eventually end up with a portal gun. This gun will shoot 2 different kinds of portals that are connected. Imagine this - if you shoot a portal at a wall in your room, and a 2nd different portal in the basement wall, then you can go through the portal from your room and end up in the basement, and vice versa! Let me start off by saying I am one who absolutely hates the CoD series. I bought Black Ops and gave up on the game after only playing about 15-20 hours in Multiplayer. But I can also say that I hate it because I hate FPS games in general. I am a huge RPG fan and not accustomed to shooters. But Killzone is different. I bought Killzone 2 to play with my friends. And for some reason, the multiplayer gave me enough reason to keep playing it. Somehow I ended up in a clan and played several matches against some of the top players in the world (or probably North America). Ever heard of the saying "Don't judge a book by its cover"? Well this game can relate to that. Google and youtube the game and you will be absolutely amazed and stunned. FFXIII is one of the prettiest games I have ever seen. The whole subject of fantasy is in full detail here. Character designs are spectacular, environments are very well done and spells,skills,etc. are eye candies. All in all, the graphics are flat out beautiful. But that's where the good points end. FFXIII tries too much on the beauty side it completely forgot to polish everything else.
