The Best Batman Ever, July 6 2004

This series is just terrific! From scripts, voices, backgrounds and character designs we're likely to never see anything as boldly produced in TV animation for a long time, if ever. It's a treat for Batman's legion of fans, animation nuts as well as those who just enjoy great stories. Ultimately that's what makes the series so successful, the deeply emotional and complex stories/characters. It's impossible to forget the heart-wrentching episode "Heart Of Ice", or the dramatic story of Two Face's creation, or the Batman centered "Appointment In Crime Alley" once you've seen them. Bond For All Time, July 3 2004

I'm not a fan of the James Boond films, but there is no denying that the series has some of the best theme songs ever. This CD collects all of them up to and including 1989s "License To Kill". From rock to camp to touching ballads and many other genres this CD covers many bases. There is something for everyone on this CD. My only complaint is that the tracks aren't in chronoligical order. But the CD booklet does give a nice summary of each film and a bit of it's histroy with is a very welcome touch for people like me who know very little about the movies.

Highly recommended for 007 fans, soundtrack buffs and those who just enjoy great music.

Best of the Best, July 2 2004

You'd be hard pressed to find a better collection of top-notch Star Trek episodes anywhere. Picard is one of the best Star Trek captains ever and Patrick Stewart the best actor to appear in the series. So right there you've got a winning combo. Add to that some of TNG's most interesting, thought provoking, and emotionally compelling episodes and you just can't loose.
